Dr. Marcus Kater was raised in Wichita, KS. He attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree, and then continued at KU Medical Center where he earned his M.D. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Kater went to the University of Missouri Kansas City for his radiology residency. He completed his sub-specialty training with a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Kater was very pleased to join KIC in 2016 were he is able to practice along side his father, Dr. Eric Kater. Dr Marcus Kater enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughters.
