Amplia Therapeutics Appoints Brett Carter To Board of Directors

Melbourne, Australia, July 07, 2026. Amplia Therapeutics Limited (ASX:ATX, OTCQB:INNMF) (“Amplia” or the “Company”) announced the appointment of Mr Brett Carter to the Board of Directors as non-executive director, effective 6 July 2026.

Amplia Board chair Ms Jane Bell AM welcomed Carter to the Board, citing his extensive experience structuring and negotiating licensing, acquisition, investment and financing transactions across global pharmaceutical markets. Bell noted this experience will prove critical as narmafotinib, Amplia’s lead drug candidate, advances into later-stage development.

Carter brings more than 25 years of global experience in oncology drug development, corporate strategy and business development. He spent 11 years at GSK in London, serving as a director on the company’s global corporate transactions team, where he led and supported major licensing, acquisition, investment and divestment transactions across Europe, Asia and the United States.

Carter later served as CEO of the Cancer Therapeutics Cooperative Research Centre, the organization where Amplia’s drug assets were originally discovered. During his tenure there, he played a role in licensing an oncology program to Pfizer in a deal valued at up to $670 million.

Carter holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc from RMIT University, and he is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He currently serves as COO of Melbourne-based Medicines Development for Global Health, sits on the board of privately-held biotech Greywolf Therapeutics Australia, and advises multiple Australian life science companies.

The Board of Amplia Therapeutics approved and authorized this announcement for release.

About Narmafotinib

Narmafotinib (AMP945) stands as the Company’s best-in-class inhibitor of FAK, a protein over-expressed in pancreatic cancer and a drug target gaining increasing attention for its role in solid tumours.

The drug delivers highly potent and selective FAK inhibition and has shown promising results across a range of preclinical cancer studies. Narmafotinib is currently undergoing the ACCENT trial, where researchers dose it in combination with the chemotherapies gemcitabine and Abraxane in first-line patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.

The trial achieved its desired outcome, delivering a 36% response rate, superior to chemotherapy alone, along with a reported median overall survival (mOS) of 11.1 months. A second trial, AMPLICITY, is running at sites across Australia to investigate narmafotinib in combination with the chemotherapy regimen FOLFIRINOX in advanced pancreatic cancer patients.
